One definition of a ‘drop-in’ suggests that it offers an opportunity for a person ‘to visit informally and spontaneously’. Another definition points out that it can be an abbreviation of ‘drop in the ocean’.
Our own drop-in centre, which we opened last November, fulfils both these definitions. St John’s Church in Sutton Road, Watford, offers us an informal setting where we can meet our clients/new clients and provide them with a friendly welcome and some appropriate assistance. … read more
