Moving
It is, unfortunately, relatively common for our clients to have to move house at very short notice.
Many of our clients who receive support with housing from social services have been required to move at short notice and at their own expense, often because cheaper accommodation has been found. It’s not uncommon for clients to have to move house multiple times within a year.
When this happens, we step in to help, ensuring that our clients, their families and their belongings are safely transported to their new homes. Where possible, we help clients to source furniture if it’s needed and find suitable storage for their belongings if they have to move to a smaller property.
We are indebted to New Hope Watford for the loan of their van to facilitate moves.
